Red

lyrics

Red flesh blood skin deep
Red eyes mind reason
Bruises scabs skinned knees
Roses tears crimson

Red mars wars leather
Red blood spills pavements
Scarlet heart letters
Scars welts marks seasons

Are you hollow
Are you like me too
Are you numbed by words that we thought we knew
Can you feel this
Can you call my name
Are we still alive if we feel the pain?

If the fear in my eyes
Can hide the truth in your eyes
Will we have the strength to carry on?
If the truth in your eyes
Can hide the fear in my eyes
Will we have the strength to carry on?

Will it bleed more here in the water?
Will it wash off here in the water?

What becomes you in the colour of blood?

If the fear in my eyes
Can hide the truth in your eyes
Will we have the strength to carry on?
If the truth in your eyes
Can hide the fear in my eyes
Will we have the strength to carry on?

Are you hollow
Are you like me too
Are you numbed by words that we thought we knew
Can you feel this
Can you call my name
Are we still alive if we feel the pain?
