Silverpiece

lyrics

Take my hand
Blood on water
Take me now
And drown me in oblivion
Taste my skin
As I burn inside

I concealed
Words unspoken
Sacrificed my tongue in your silence
Broke our deal
And you went out of sight

I’ve fallen deep
Lying here
Counting shadows old
Lighting a candle in the dark
Knowing you’ll spread your wings and fly

Don’t leave me here to my devices

To lose a wager
And a soul to keep
To catch the twilight
The moons of saturnine

The words you said are cast within my soul
With all that glitters
And all that whispers

I’ve fallen deep
Lying here
Counting shadows old
Lighting a candle in the dark
Knowing you’ll spread your wings and fly

Don’t leave me here to my devices

Am I still alive?
I caught your shadow here as I breathe
Was it all a lie?
I caught your shadow here as I bleed
