The Flood

from Into The Ether by Lunarin

lyrics

Jezabel
You lost your heart listening to sirens
You said hell's another place found in my mind
You wished me well
Now all that's left is this dead silence
Am I to tell what's right is left and what's left is right

But tell me what's a heartbreak
A memory
A whisper
A vision of you?

Tell me what's a heartbreak
A drowning
A fever
A scream for you?

The flood
Let it rain through
The flood
Let it rain through
It's cold and gray
There is no reason
Here to say
I don't mind
Who's to say
There is no room for myself?

Breath turns white
Water in my eyes
It's cold as ice
We're born and then we
Die

Undertow drags me down
And it's over
We choke and make no sound
Cuz it's over

Breathe in
Breathe out

Searching
For a way out
Fading

Drifting
Drift out
Dying

Just breathe in
Breathe out
We breathe in
Breathe out

There's nowhere to hide
Eternal sleep's within sight
Is there any point
In opening my eyes?
Do we die alone
Beneath the waves
Out of sight
Can we start again?
I'll open my eyes...

Over the surface
Get over you
Over the line
That splits us down in two

Spinning in circles
Fade out in sound
White turns to black as we spin
Round and round

Water in my eyes
Dying for a breath
Can you stay with me
By my side?
